De Pere School District Food Service
Free and Reduced Lunch
The free and reduced lunch program is a government subsidized program available to families who meet the established income guidelines. It is a confidential program and students receiving free or reduced price lunch benefits are not segregated in any way. A new application must be completed and on file for each school year. This can be done anytime during the year, however the earlier it is in the sooner your family may be able to receive benefits.
Applications are mailed to families prior to the start of the school year as an insert in the back to school edition of the De Pere Hi Light. They are also available in all of our school offices. A pdf version of the application is also available to download and print. (Please print and fill out both the application and waiver. Families that qualify for free or reduced price lunch may also qualify to have school fees waives, but must fill out the waiver.) Once complete they may be returned to any school office, faxed to (920) 337-1049 (attn: Erin Heim) or mailed to:

Some families are directly certified for free lunch because of their participation in in W-2, Foodshare, or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations). However, because your family receives these benefits does not guarantee direct certification. You will be contacted if your family has been directly certified.
